New plate standards were introduced 1st August 2020. Changes were made to the dies and size of the plates.

FORMER ISSUES - STILL VALID

Vietnam normal series former style 51G-743.72.jpg (119 kB)

Normal series since 2010. 2010-20 plate style. 51 = Hồ Chí Minh City (Saigon). The national flag added unofficially to the left of the front plate and a Vietnam badge to the rear plate.
