PHILIPPINES (RP)

A new series with three letters and four numerals was introduced in 2014. Regional coding was by means of a legend. In 2018 a revised series with the first letter denoting the region was introduced. Photo from 2019 courtesy of Alf Nybru, where C is the regional code letter for Central Luzon.

FORMER ISSUES - STILL VALID

Normal series 1981-2014. 1988-94 plate style. N = National Capital Region. These plates usually had F (front) or R (rear) in the middle. Since these are duplicate plates there is a D instead. The white plate should have been at the front and the green at the rear.
