Light commercial series since 1986. 2006-08 plate style.
Miniature size, not allowed for vehicles registered since 2008.
There was no room for a blue band on these plates. KF = Drammen. Numbering blocks
from the normal series were used. This is an older registration remade in 2006 style.

Trailer series since 1971. 2006-09 plate style. TA = Bergen.

Moped series since 1971. 2006-09 plate style. KX = Kongsberg.

Motorcycle series since 1971. 2006-09 plate style. TF = Voss.
This is an older registration remade in 2006 style.

Diplomatic series since 1985. 2006-09 plate style. CD = Corps Diplomatique. 40 = India.

Royal car. A = Oslo (from the 1913-71 series). 1942-71 plate style.
This is the same car as A-55, but for the Royal Wedding in August 2001 it was re-plated as A-5.

ZN = Svalbard. When "imported" to the mainland vehicles get plates in normal Norwegian colours with the same registration.

OBSOLETE LICENSE PLATES - NO LONGER VALID

These are official cars for the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Plates are normal series
from Drøbak (where the Volvo importer is located). But they were issued ahead of sequence
from BD 10001 to 11082 at a time when Drøbak had only reached around BC 83000.

Export/ tourist series since 1971. 1971-2001 plate style. Reflective plates since 1982.
1 = Oslo. Valid until end of June 1995.

Provisional plate, self-adhesive, since 1990. 1990-92 date layout. TF = Voss.
Valid until August 3rd.

Additional truck plate, 1977-early 1990s(?). YT = Yrkestransport (carriage of goods for hire).
R = Hordaland. Note: This is not really a registration plate.

Taxi lamp. These show the number of the taxi licence.
The letter is from the pre-1971 number plate system. K = Vest-Agder.
